Cleaning and Inspection Standard

WRAPPER #1

ASSET CARE - FLEXIBLE ENROBING LINE

Personnel required: 1 operator + 1 helper

Method: By Hand

    • Unplug all equipment.

    • Lock out the equipment.

    • Standard: All energy sources isolated; Zero energy state

    • If abnormal: Contact Team Leader and maintenance

    • Frequency: All

    • Standard time: 5 min

  1. Remove conveyor plexiglass.
    • Remove conveyor plexiglass.

    • Wipe in and under clips.

    • Wipe clean 90-degree belt.

    • Standard: No chocolate build up; No excess of grease and/or oil; All surfaces clean

    • If abnormal: Clean

    • Standard time: 30 min

    • Frequency: Change over

  2. Remove turning belts and wash.
    • Remove turning belts and wash.

    • Remove and wash rollers.

    • Clean all surfaces of the conveyor body.

    • Standard: No chocolate build up; No excess of grease and/or oil; All surfaces clean

    • If abnormal: Clean

    • Standard time: 30 min

    • Frequency: Change over

  3. Remove turning belt and wash.
    • Remove turning belt and wash.

    • Remove and wash rollers.

    • Clean all surfaces of the conveyor body.

    • Standard: No chocolate build up; No excess of grease and/or oil; All surfaces clean

    • If abnormal: Clean

    • Standard time: 30 min

    • Frequency: Change over

  4. Wipe clean metal detector head.
    • Wipe clean metal detector head.

    • Wipe surface and under belt.

    • Clean all surfaces of the conveyor body.

    • Standard: No chocolate build up; No excess of grease and/or oil; All surfaces clean

    • If abnormal: Clean

    • Standard time: 10 min

    • Frequency: Change over

  5. Remove belts and wash.
    • Remove belts and wash.

    • Remove and wash rollers.

    • Clean all surfaces of the conveyor body.

    • Standard: No chocolate build up; No excess of grease and/or oil; All surfaces clean

    • If abnormal: Clean

    • Standard time: 60 min

    • Frequency: Change over

  6. Remove belts and wash
    • Remove belts and wash

    • Remove and wash rollers.

    • Clean all surfaces of the conveyor body.

    • Standard: No chocolate build up; No excess of grease and/or oil; All surfaces clean

    • If abnormal: Clean

    • Standard time: 30 min

    • Frequency: Change over

  7. Remove belt and wash.
    • Remove belt and wash.

    • Remove and wash rollers.

    • Clean all surfaces of the conveyor body.

    • Standard: No chocolate build up; No excess of grease and/or oil; All surfaces clean

    • If abnormal: Clean

    • Standard time: 40 min

    • Remove and wash rollers.

    • If abnormal: Clean

    • Standard time: 40 min

    • Frequency: Change over

  10. Remove belts and wash.
    • Remove belts and wash.

    • Remove and wash rollers.

    • Clean all surfaces of the conveyor body.

    • Standard: No chocolate build up; No excess of grease and/or oil; All surfaces clean

    • If abnormal: Clean

    • Standard time: 35 min

    • Frequency: Change over

  11. Remove lugs from lug chain and wash.
    • Remove lugs from lug chain and wash.

    • Standard: No chocolate build up; No excess of grease and/or oil; All surfaces clean

    • If abnormal: Clean

    • Standard time: 30 min

    • Frequency: Change over

  12. Remove infeed lug chain rails and wash.
    • Remove infeed lug chain rails and wash.

    • Standard: No chocolate build up; No excess of grease and/or oil; All surfaces clean

    • If abnormal: Clean

    • Standard time: 15 min

    • Frequency: Change over

  13. Remove folding box and wash.
    • Remove folding box and wash.

    • Standard: No chocolate build up; No excess of grease and/or oil; All surfaces clean

    • If abnormal: Clean

    • Standard time: 60 min

    • Frequency: Change over

  14. Empty and clean all catch trays.
    • Empty and clean all catch trays.

    • Clean all surfaces of the frame.

    • Standard: No chocolate build up; No excess of grease and/or oil; All surfaces clean

    • If abnormal: Clean

    • Standard time: 60 min

  15. Wipe cardboard dust from equipment.
